- Monik is one of the original members and lead vocalist of Mind’s Body. She comes from a family of Latin percussionist, who greatly encouraged her to find her unique spicy flare, and find it she did. Monik can belt out a tune with the best of them ignited by the heat of her soulful voice, it’s what gives that ‘INDEPENDENT ALTERNATIVE SOUL’ sound to her music, creating the power and passion to her performances. She is inspired by many types of music, but it is her soulful and Latin style is what gives Monik her unique sound whether playing with MINDS BODY or fronting the band Q-VO.
